Low threshold and coherence random laser based on ZnO nanorods

Low power random lasing is demonstrated by different concentrations of ZnO nanorod in Rhodamine B solution. For this purpose, nanorods are fabricated hydrothermal method, pumped nanosecond pulsed laser and the reflected light gathered spectrometer. By increasing concentration inside gain medium, threshold full width at half maximum reduced three examined samples with (10%, 30%, 50%). Our results show that enhance yield to a reduction needed energy gradually as 52, 45, 40 µJ (FWHM) changes 13,12,10.5 nm respectively. In addition, coherency appeared nano spikes output action low pumping power.
